This on-demand workshop is designed for recreation leaders looking to deepen their understanding of physical literacy and apply it meaningfully within recreation program settings.
Through this expert-led video module, participants will explore the core components of physical literacy, its role in quality programs, and how to adapt programming to better support participants of all ages and abilities.A key focus of this workshop is the ‘5+5 model’, which outlines five design considerations and five session characteristics that can be used to create engaging, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate programs.
